Use the links on this page to download the latest version of Realtek High Definition Audio (With SRS) drivers. Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 7, Windows Vista.
Computer speakers stopped working after installing Windows 10. Have an Asus K52F with two sound devices. Most current version is a high definition audio device with a driver version 10.0.4. Have updated driver & driver status states the driver is working properly. Although the internal speakers volume is at its maximum there is still no sound. The headphones work properly & I've repeatedly went into the SRS Premium Sound Control to turn on & turn on the internal computer speakers. Every time I bring up the SRS Premium Sound Control I have to turn it on & switch it from headphones to the computers internal speakers & I still have no sound.
Have not seen any fix for my specific version of Asus computer but have tried every fix remotely close & nothing has worked. I hope someone out there has a solution for me. Hello, Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community.
I am glad to assist you on this. • Have you made any changes to the system prior to this issue? • Are you referring to the external speakers or Laptop speakers?
There might be a possibility that this issue might have occurred due to incorrect settings or the audio drivers might have gone bad in the system. I would suggest you to try the following methods and check if it helps.
