My nVidia GeForce GTX 745 graphics stopped working whit latest Windows 10 update showing errof 43 device has stopped cause of error. I quess it still gives sometving cause resomution can be used 1920x1080 but anyway nvidia desktop program aint there at all and error percist. I have tryed every possible way uninstall, manually install, etc. But no help latest driver installed but error does not go away. My PC is HP ENVY 700-402no Plese solve this for me or i have to go back 8.1 and i would hate that.

Jouni Lassi from Finland. Hi, This is what HP shows as per your description here (note the date on the driver).

This is what the GEFORCE driver page shows (from a generic search), (Note that this is an OEM type graphics card that was built to the OEM's specs by NVidia/GEFORCE): (change the architecture for your device if/as need be 32bit or 64bit)). For what it's worth: From my experience with NVidia graphics cards and Windows 10 I have found the best practice for compatibility to be to uninstall all instances (there may be several) of the drivers (any and all instances of anything NVidia/GEFORCE) while being fully disconnected from the internet, until there is no other graphics driver available for use other than the Windows basic driver supplying the monitor output (it will look goofy but it will be there). Then, reconnect to the internet and let Windows install the driver that it likes (if and when you look at the version of it, it will not match what you see when you look it up as to what is the correct version for the application at hand but it will work well, at least from my experience having solved this problem on numerous devises, so take it on for what it is worth to you). Again, for what it's worth, -Richard. So it's the NVidia Control Panel app itself that is giving you a problem but the display seems to be functioning properly? (Do Note that in Windows 10 there is more direct control of the graphics settings by the OS than in previous editions of Windows).
