HP Pavilion Laptop DV6700 (KR346AV) AMD dual core TL-60 Installed retail version of Windows 7 Home Premium on a bare disk All mandatory Windows Updates have been installed There is a new (to me) 'unknown device Coprocessor' that is not running. No drivers available. If I unistall the device it comes back.
Currently I have it disabled. What is this 'device' and where can I find a driver for it (HP says there are no Windows 7 specific drivers available.) That suggests that you don't have chipset drivers installed for your notebook. I'm not sure why they aren't available through Windows Update, but I've had the same problem with my laptop (nVidia chipset, AMD CPU). Perhaps these will help: (32 bit Windows 7). For 64 bit Win7.
